Welcome to the QoG Institute's data pages. Here we offer a range of datasets available for free, a data visualization tool as well as some tips and hints on the use of the data.

In the left hand column there are links to the different sections. Under Downloads you will find five datasets, three of which are available in both Time Series and Cross Section. The flagship is our award winning QoG Standard Dataset. To make it easier to navigate we also offer the QoG Basic Dataset which contains the most qualitative variables from the Standard Dataset.

The QoG Expert Survey is a dataset based on our survey of experts on public administration around the world, available in an individual dataset and an aggregated dataset covering 107 countries.

The QoG OECD is a newly available dataset published by the QoG Institute. It covers countries who are members of the OECD. The dataset is further distinguished due to its high data coverage in terms geography and time.

The EU Regional Data consists of approximately 450 variables from Eurostat and other sources, covering three levels of European regions - country, major socio-economic regions and basic regions for the application of regional policies.

In addition to these datasets we offer the QoG EQI Dataset. The dataset concerns corruption on regional level within the EU and the data is based on a survey of 34,000 respondents.

The Data Visualization Tool is an addition to the QoG data pages. It is a tool that allows you to display the data from the QoG Basic Dataset on a world map and in scatterplots.

The Extras section includes reading recommendations, list of articles using QoG data, list of original data sources and a special section for Stata users, which among other things contains details on the QoG-Stata commands.
