Are you a student at the University of Gothenburg and want to write your Master's thesis within the QoG Institute?
If you are interested, the institute can support you in two ways.
1. Our researchers can provide competent supervision for your thesis. We have a very broad competence within the QoG Institute, covering research questions concerning everything from the Swedish fisheries to HIV epidemics in Africa and the development of effective bureaucratic institutions worldwide. More information about the special competence of our researchers is available here.
2. We promote broad comparative research by offering access to cross-national comparative data on QoG and its correlates. We have made publicly available both a cross-sectional dataset with global coverage pertaining to the year 2002, and a cross-sectional time-series dataset with global coverage spanning the time period 1946–2006. More information about these and our other datasets can be found here.
The QoG Institute publishes a Working Paper Series. Excellent Master's theses written within the QoG framework can be published in this series.
